I love this picture of my daughter hiking with her Daddy on one of the Carlsbad Caverns trails.  Being carried by my husband lulls her and she was so relaxed in this picture...could have closed her eyes and drifted off any second.  Happy Father's Day to the best Daddy ever!

From a Distance

This week's photo challenge is "From a Distance".  I took this picture the beginning of March, the day after we moved to New Mexico.  We were SO excited to be out of the harsh winter of the Midwest and soaked up every ounce of warmth and sunshine we could at White Sands that day.  The sand was so incredibly clean, white and sparkly, the sky was as blue as could be and we had no cares.  Just played like children.  What a wonderful day.

My little brother just graduated from high school so we made a trip to AZ for a visit this past weekend.  His graduation present from us was a photo shoot.  Here is one of my favorite shots for the I Heart Faces photo challenge.  More to come :)

I Heart Faces holds a weekly photo challenge and I've decided that participating could really help me expand my horizons in photography!

This weeks challenge is Best Face from March.

I was waiting for the sneeze to pass, when I decided that it might actually make an interesting shot!  Ha ha. 

I love it!
